I'll be refinishing the center of my GTA wheels. I have a few questions. I plan to use a self etching primer, anyone recommend which one to use?

Also, I'm going to use a single stage metallic enamel. Should I use a clear coat? If so what kind would you recommend?
I definitely don't want it to yellow again, and I can't afford powdercoating right now.

I just repainted my crosslace part of my GTA wheels black. I need to know how to get the chrome finish looking good, it has that dull look to it. I already stripped off the clearcoat but it still looks dull, even when I use polish on the wheels.
I'll have some pics on my site soon, just need to borrow a digi camera to take the pics.
