Did anyone think of attaching it w/out drilling holes like AutoMeter says ? I was thinking... double sided tape ? I really dont wanna drill holes in my A pillar. Thanx

that could work but if it gets too hot you may want to leave your window down a crack b/c when the heat builds up, the tape will let loose

Isn't there a company that makes the whole pillar with gauge pods already molded in? I thought I saw pictures of it somewhere on this board.

www.guagepods.com only makes them for T-top cars from what I saw on their website! That sucks! I have that Autometer dual pod in right now, but I wish I could find a the dual pod integrated into the a pillar like they offer for the 4th gens.

Lo-Tek will supposedly make custom A-pillar panels. I'd like to get a dual instead of a triple. It wouldn't be hard and it shouldn't cost much extra. We should e-mail them and see if they'll do some.

 

I think the Autometer pods originally came with doublesided tape to mount them, but it sucked so bad they changed the instructions to read drilling the holes and included the mounting pegs.
