Size of sail Panel Bird on 82 T/A

Can anyone help with the size of the bird on the sail panel. I have an 82 T/A, not sure if it was used on this model but I want to make my own.
Since I have a fancy Roland Printer/Plotter makes it a simple task but just need dimensions.

Cheers and thanks in advance

Well uhh :-\ I believe the sail panel birds are 3" in height from the tip of the wing to the lower feathers, I'm not sure about width, call me crazy but I think its also 3" wide. Here's a Picture of the 1982 Trans Am sail panel bird.

Thanks Phenom, that should get me out of trouble, I'll make it 3" high and see how it scales from there.
Does anyone have a pic of the bird an relation to where it goes on the sail panel.

Cheers

Thanks Mate
So if its 3" high it looks like it should be placed approx 3" above the door sill line, and maybe 4" back from the window opening

OK, Thanks for your help, I'm about halfway through drawing the bird in my vector program. Should be able to run it through the cutter in about an hour and then stick it on.
Cheers

Mmmm, no, a bit further down, some say we are down under but I prefer to think we are on ground level

OK, Got it drawn, cut out and stuck on the panel but somehow it just doesn't look right, I dunno, it seems too small or maybe not in the right place.
What do you all think??

Re: Size of sail Panel Bird on 82 T/A

Thanks Phenom.
I think I misunderstood your dimensions. I made the bird 3" square overall but when I went back and re-read your post I think you meant the bird itself should be 3" square.
Went back and scaled up the whole thing and it looks a lot better now.

Thanks
