Tune Up question...

Can someone tell me how or which would be the best and easiest way to get to the sparkplug on an 88 camaro? I need to give it a tune up this weekend but can't even see the sparkplug from the top. Thanks in advance.

Lift baby, lift!!!! I tried to get them out threw the top once. That was a joke! I got the front right one out of my 89 Camaro. Also to make it alittle easier on you....drop your starter motor. Makes the job alot easier for the passenger side.

------------------
89 Rs Camaro 305 TBI
Air Intake
K&N air filter
80 Series FlowMaster Muffler 2.5 inch Cat Back
BFG 235/60r15 (soon to be 25th Anniversary rims with 235/50r16)
Apperance: Black gray pinstripe. Black interior with Gray center piece in seat. Blue Gauge lights and 2 Blue neons under dash Board.
90 Iroc Checkerd Tail lights
Iroc Foglights
System: Pioneer 5200 Head unit Polk 3 ways up front and in the back. Kenwood 300 watt amp pumpin a 8inch JBL GT

I changed all but #8 on my 88 IROC from the top. Sure, u can't see them but u can feel them. It helps to lie across the top of the motor when trying to get to #7 (last one on the driver's side). All the others u can reach pretty much standing up right next to the car. Yeah u'll have to try contorting your body a bit but it works fine. For the plugs on the passenger side, try sliding your right arm in to the gap between the motor and the strut tower area. If I had longer arms i would have changed #8 (last one on passenger side) from the top too.

The plug wires were a real bitch on the passenger side. I had to get down under the vehicle and route them properly, away from the exaust manifold and y-pipe. There's too little space between the heat shield on the manifold and wheel well to accomplish this from the top.

------------------
'88 IROC 305 TPI
Crappy 700R4 slushbox
Gutted airboxes
180 degree T-stat
Advanced base TPS voltage
Relocated IAT sensor
Momo steering wheel (gotta luv it)
Ram-air setup coming soon
Flowmaster muffler (puke)
Taylor SpiroPro wires
Accel cap and rotor
Ported plenum
Kills: '94 Z28, Olds Aurora V8, bunch of Mustangs, T-birds, ricers, and others who assumed a 12 year-old car would be too slow.
