Please Help
I have a 1991 Trans Am GTA and the front bumper is toast, i want to put an 88 style bumper and front fenders, i already know where i can get all that plus the bumper support. Is there anything else i will have to get for this set up to work? i was told the doors might be longer or shorter, so will i have to get new doors as well, and a hood? please help im trying to have the body finished and most of the interior finished by next summer then comes the paint and custom interior/exterior. Thank You

Re: Please Help
Is this a T/A bumper or a formula or base model bumper? You do not have to replace the fenders. If a T/A bumper what are you doing about the front fender ground effect? You would have a few holes from the front of the rocker ground effect that need to be filled if you are cahnging out all the ground effects. As the ground effects are different between those different years you need to decide what you are going to do for certain.

Re: Please Help
oh, then i might just keep the 91 bumper style. seems to be easier and cheaper. another question, if i wanted to give my dash a fresh finish and custom paint part of it, would you suggest airbrush paint the whole thing, let it dry, then do the custom paint? or how would i go about doing that?

Re: Please Help
it all depends on what part of the dash it around my camaros gauges i put primer then painted it. if you want to keep the texture on it you have to do light coats to thick will get rid of it. should be the same if your doing the entire trans am dash it should be the same. if your talking about the dash pad i've seen that posted on here were they wrapped the dash pad in fiberglass then smoothed it out before painting it,
