Hi. I am sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I need help. I cant seem to find the hatch release button in my car, in order to open the rear hatch from the inside of my car. Is there a hatch release button even in my '83? I just got the car, it is my first car. Cant seem to find it. Please let me know. thanks.

 

Mine was on the dash, above the radio.

IF you have one it will be on the plastic trim panel above the radio and heater controls,on that panel if your car is so equipped you would find the 3 buttons for the rear wiper-(like my 83 T/A had)-and the hatch release switch-(again like my 83 had)-
