What fourthgen years did Pontiac make black leather seats for? (NOT graphite, but black). I know they are difficult to find and expensive, but does anyone know of a good place to look for them excluding ebay?

2000 was the first year in the new ones in the 4th gen black, but the color is referred to as ebony. But it is black not graphite. Not likely youll find them but hey go ahead and look.

Your best bet is to pray to find them from a recently wrecked Firebird, but it'll probably be hard to find one at a salvage or junk yard with the seats still intact. Incidentally I checked with the GM parts center and they gave me an estimate of 1800 bucks because they sell the seats piece by piece. You can get some 4th gen camaro seats out there though, may want to try www.car-part.com I found some black leather seats from a 1996 camaro on there.

I just recently got a set off these out of a 2000 TA. The seats are gorgeous without a flaw. You get what you pay for...I paid $900 for seats (front and rear) + the leather door panels off of the TA.

Good luck!
