I'm in the middle of an install of my white face gauges/bulbs on my 87 IROC. Having trouble disconnecting the speedo! Please help.

I used a long flat screwdriver to reach up behind and press the side of the black retaner clip down while pulling lightly on the cable and it just pops right off.

 

Thanks for the help, once I figured out how the clip worked it was a snap. I have valet start and an alarm and for some reason thier wire harness happens to be in the direct way of the speedo, but a long flat head fit right in there, and on re-attiching it, it snapped right in. They are awsome, and I have the blue kryptons. I colored my needles violet to match my stereo illum. buttons.
