I am converting my 88 Iroc to 91-92 ground effects. I already purchased them used, If I remember from past 3rd gens, the rear of 85-90 side ground effects bolted into the back seat panel area. The 91-92 ground effect I purchased do not have any mounting studs(I think due to the air vents in the rear). How were these attached? Looks like possible two-sided tape in the rear.

The problem I may run into is I have an 88 Iroc convertible, and was not aware at the time that all the underside mounting points are wacked off to allow for factory frame tie. How will the 91-92 ground effects hold onto the convertible body in the rear.

I have a similiar problem with my install.
I am putting the 91-92 Camaro GFX on my 86 Trans Am. There were mounting brackets for my stock rocker panel GFX, but the new rocker panel GFX is about an inch shorter, so I have to fill the old holes and maybe use double sided foam tape to keep the GFX from rattling.
If anyone knows anyone that has the door molding for a 91-92 Camaro, let me know, car looks kinda strange now with the mismatched ground effects.
