Finally, after years of questions and choices, we're actually working on my car ! That 1983 Recaro T/A who's been sitting for ages !

Bad news is, she has been crashed, and the radiator support is damaged. If I gotta replace it, is it the same as any 83-92 firebird ? Or early third Gens (and their right side battery) are specific ?

The front frame section is the same on all birds. Some used the right side for battery, some left, but theyre the same.

A 89 Formula is being parted out roughly 50 miles from me. In southern France, this scarce enough for Champagne.

I guess I'll have to cut the donor car above the battery compartment ?

 

i cut this one by chopping throught the fender support, through the strut tower and taking a piece of the frame rail too.
