How do I fix this? (2 pictures)

I've had this little hole in the driver's seat, and now it's getting bigger because of the metal wire that sticks me in the back every once-in-a-while.

How do I fix it? I want to fix the wire and patch the hole. I want it to be as cosmetically appealing as possible!

I found a cloth patch and some foam and stuffed the foam in there and then sowed the patch closed.. it works relatively well.. the foam keeps the damn wire from being a pest
