How hard is it to replace power antenna assembly??

How hard is it to replace power antenna assembly??

I am going to attenpt the swap tomorrow,I ordered a new assembly from the dealer($77) and what tools do I need and best to remove..etc...???

Not hard, remove the front passenger side wheel, then remove the inner plastic wheel well. once this is off you have a clear view of the antenna. Basic hand tools are all that's needed.

On my car there was actually a subframe that would'nt allow me to actually mess with the antennea....Is it common to see rust in that area of the car???

If you are talking about the inner fender support, yes its common, people do'nt always wash the salt out very well. If you use the stock type or remote motor antenna, that support is not a problem.
