hatch shocks

where can i get new ones and how much are they, and how is installation

Car: 87 Formula/ 00 Xtreme
Engine: TPI 305/ v6
Transmission: struggling t-5/ 4l60E
Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
You can get them at Pep Boys, Autozone, or any other auto parts store anywhere from $25-$45 each, I think mine were $38ea. from Autozone (it's been awhile). I don't know about the others but I'm faily sure Autozone has a lifetime warrenty on theirs.

Installing involves-

Get something to prop the hatch up

Remove the (10mm?) bolt holding the strut to the decklid

Pop the trim off the lower part of the strut and remove the bolt there.

Install new strut,, rebolt,, do other side.

Faily easy
