seats redone

Aproximently, how much should I expect to pay to have my 89 camaro red cloth seats recovered? I can't find any red ones in the junk yards, so this is my next option. Thanks

Start by calling some local upolstery shops. I got a quote of $500 to recover the front and back seats in a very nice soft leatherish covering.

I'm having to go this route cause I cannot find any nice black seats, only 800-1000 leather seats which I ain't paying that much.

I THINK EVERY CAMARO OWNER IN AMERICA IS TRYING TO FIND SEATS IN A JUNKYARD. ESPECIALLY BLACK ONES. AS THE YEARS PASS IT BECOMES HARDER AND HARDER. CAN ANYONE HELP GUIDE US TO A DECENT REUPHOLSTER OR SELL US SOME SEATS FOR LESS THEN OUR FIRST BORN SON(LOL).

Go to www.speedautomotive.com. They have great prices on seats. They quoted me a set of gray cloth seats for $250...plust $52 shipping. Not bad considering I live pretty far away. They said that they never made black cloth seats for camaro's and TA's. He said the closest they get to black is a medium gray. I want to see a pic of the seats before I buy them, but his prices arent that bad. I am thinking about getting a set from him if worse comes to worst.
