89 Trans Am Spoiler
I notice the price for a aftermarket fiberglass spoiler is $400. Now what I was thinking about is taking a 98-02 spoiler off a ws6 (since i get one for 200-250), I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this would work? If the sizes were the same or anything. Thanks.

Just do a search on 4th gen spoiler. Lots of threads and info. Definitely doable but lots of work..

That is what I am thinking about doing. Just want to make sure the width's are the same size so it is at least a little easier. I have no problem puttying up the old holes seeing how I am repaint my car now.

IMO the 4th gen spolier does not look good on the 3rd gens. I say if your going to do the car do it right and get a repop spoiler. My spolier is shot and if I ever do repaint the car I'm going to spend the $400 and get the right spoiler. It's your car do what you want, but you asked. Yes it has been done alot on here.

Re: 89 Trans Am Spoiler
I have seen some on here with them on but I think I like the style of the 3 gen ones better. Myself I spent the money and picked one up. I had to drive 2 hrs away pick it up by Toronto. But saved got it for half the price it would have been to ship it from the States online. Looks sweet. But to each his own. Cheers Bro...

Re: 89 Trans Am Spoiler
Yeah i would prefer to stay original. I think i am just going to paint the car without the spoiler and I am sure I will have paint left over to paint the spoiler whenever I get it. I agree the 3rd gen spoiler does look better the price is ridiculous. I would rather get the fiberglass kind but I think i also might wait to see if i can get a deal on one.
