You know, above your radio. Words are failing me right now. I've got my interior out right now, and I've never liked the way that looks. The bulb casts a yellow tint over the whole thing, and since it's only on one side, half is dim yellow, and half is just plain dim. I was thinking of making it all white, or maybe sticking a red bulb in...what do you guys think? Any suggestions?

 

I put red bulbs in everywhere. I think GM was on something when they came up with that yellow color! It looks like the car was smoked in and it yellowed everything YUCK! I replaced my dashlights and everything with red bulbs and it looks good. Things are a bit harder to read but I can deal with that as long as I don't have to look at the yellow anymore.

 

Tell me more about this red bulb thing you've done. The yellowy-green lights my dash has are fairly gross as well. What type of bulbs do you use and where do you get them?

 

I got mine at Canadian Tire up here in the Great White North. I'm pretty sure you can get them at any auto parts store, though. All you have to do is pop the bulbs out and replace them with the new colored ones. I've got my kickpanel and dome lights red. I'm not sure it would look good or bright enough to do every light though. Purpleworm? Any pictures?
