can anyone help me buff out scratches in my glass t-tops?

I don't want scratches in my t-tops,this looks ghetto. I've gotten out some of the scuffing with some cheap turtle wax rubbing compound and my dremel tool w/buffer tip,but some of the deeper scratches seem to be there to stay. I could just get new t-tops,but I'd rather fix the scratches if I can, there's got to be a way...

Check the products at the auto parts store that are designed to repair cracked windshields. I haven't tried it, but they may fill it in.

Get some powdered cerium oxide. You will need a low speed rotary polisher, under 1300 rpm with a 3" diameter wool felt polishing pad 2" thick. You have to be real careful not to heat up the glass or it will warp. Remember, glass is actually a liquid. You can only do the outside because of factory tinting and defoggers. Eastwood makes a kit I believe, and if you do it, follow the instructions to the letter.
