Installing power door locks.......

Has anyone ever installed power door locks on a car without them? I just got the power lock switches and I am about to get the actuators, but how do I install them? Please any help is much appreciated.

Make sure you have all the parts first. It's very easy to install. The main thing you need is the bar thats connects to the motor which in turn connects to the interior lock bar. Towards the rear of the door you will see two little holes. Bolt the motor their (make sure the bar is connectd to the motor first, makes it a little easier) Once in, the bar that connects to the motor has a sort of U shape to it. Connect that to the bar that is you interior door lock. You will see a bend on the bar slide the u shaped thingy into the bend and your done. The wiring for the motor runs on the outside of the door (under the door panel). If thats too confusing let me know, I draw a schematic for you. Maybe easier that way.
