Aftermarket glass hoods

I am all set to buy a WS6 hood used. But every glass hood I sse on here has horrible alignment with the front bumper cover. Especially the ones with a thick lip on the front edge like the one I am looking at. Has anyone had a hood like this and gotten good alignment without years of fitting in a shop? I just don't see how it can work out, being as the stock hood is dead tight against the bumper cover and has a minimally thick lip. I really need to make a decision today, and need all the help I can get here.

Most people don't take the time to properly trim the hood edges (esp the front part), align the panels or they think they aren't supposed to cut em down to fit.
The camaros I see are the worst, a few birds now an then.
Not to mention very few RA bird hoods look a bit to big for the 3rdgen car. They need scaled down a bit. IMO

Re: Aftermarket glass hoods

Thanks for your input, I'm going to pass on the hood. I mentioned my concerns to the seller and apparently pissed him off. If he can't understand, then he has no idea of what attention to detail is. Now the search is back on I guess. If anyone that has replaced an OEM hood in good shape for one of these, I'm interested in it. (Z28 hood with provisions for louvers, I still have mine)
