Re-installing front seats... ------>>>

I pulled out the pass. side seat to accomodate some other maintenance and am going to pull the drivers seat next, but I'm ready to put the pass. seat back in, and it's all out of alignment. When I lifted it off the studs, it sounded like a spring popped somewhere, but nothing that I can see is undone. But the seat won't seat down on all four studs - it's like it's twisted... Anybody with any experience and/or ideas, please help... thanks...

Maybe the seat track has to be adjusted? Sometimes that spring underneath will jerk one side forward a little, so when you try to put it back it won't go in. try laying the seat on the ground on its back-hold the lever in like you're going to adjust it(if it was in the car) and slide both tracks down--that should even them out. Be careful tho, you might slip and knock yourself out if you push too hard. This happened to me on both of my seats when i tried to bolt them back in. If you're confused just e-mail me and I'll try to explain it a little clearer.

yeah, just play with the tracks to line them up right.

Same thing happened to me. After I fixed the seat (wouldn't go back and forth) I went to put it in and it didn't line up. I just about lost my S**T! Then I hit the lever and the tracks went back and it fit.

yeah, you just bumped the lever on the front of the seat, it only controls one rail, the other moves with it (when bolted down) or stays put (when not bolted) bolt down the main one and adjust with the lever so all four bolts line up.
