Hood Scoop

I wanna Run either a Mr Gasket Street Scoop, or some kind of blower hood scoop.

My only question is what do you do when it rains? Or is this a fair weather mod only? as in I can only drive it in nice weather?

If I only wanted to drive my car on sunny days I would have bought a Vette.

IF you get that type of hood scoop you can get a scoop cover thats fits in the end of the scoop, Moroso makes them real cheap, you can find them at www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com or even www.jcwhitney.com

right, It a plug, that when your watching NHRA on TV and they show the pits, sometimes you will see a scoop on the car and a plug will be in it, it will keep water, dirt, bugs out of your scoop. Air will still be able to get to the carb though the rest of your engine compartment.

are you putting it on your stock hood, because alot of body shops out here dont want to put a fiberglass hood scoop on a steel hood, because i guess the steel heats up and the paint cracks and sometimes the fiberglass does too
