Rear sheetmetal
OK the reason my Driver side taillight doesn't fit quite right, is that the sheetmetal that the lights, keyhole, powerhatch motor *** . etc. is ever so slightly bent on the driverside from a seemingly minor fender bender(don't ask, I'll just get mad!!!). The frame seems OK. My buddy says it can be banged out or replaced. I checked the parts and Illus. book, and it does list the rear sheetmetal as being a seperate peice...is this accurate? Can it be replaced completely? Money is no object(within reason of course) since the car is my baby and almost ready for a complete resto!!! I don't know body work...please give me the peice of mind of knowing she is repairable!!! Thanks guys!

Anything is repairable.... especially when money is no object!!!
Providing both rear quarter panels are still in alignment the rear section could be re-aligned. Sounds pretty minor as body repairs go.

I ordered the sheetmetal your talkin about for the drivers side on my IROC, list in the paddock is $99... truck freight was $150.. so it cost about $251 total i think... plus installation...

I was going to buy a new front bumper from classic industries, they tottaly riped me off they wanted 225.00 for it and the shipping would cost 250.00 needless to say I didnt buy it but I got all my ground effects in perfect condition from them, still wating for my ground effects support to come in.I'm going to buy a the sheet metal for the pull down hatch, since my Camaro has the slam hatch bolt patern on it.If they are back ordered then I will just cut one out of a wrecked camaro and weld it into mine.
