Back from the dead, my fiance's cousin told me about one at the local junk yard. Pulled the hatch and only one side today, will pick up the other side tomorrow.

 

shame you cant get the whole body. The widebody flares and hardtop would make a good race car. You would be able to fit some pretty serious tires under the front and back with little work, with a wider stance too.

Wish I could have purchased the whole car. My thoughts exactly on the flares and hardtop. Thought about adding it to my car but then I would have to modify the flares to fit my front bumper. Think I rather sell it to someone who will use it as is without modifying.

 

Dang... How much are they hosing you for those parts? Why is it that all of the good stuff is down south? I could use pretty much all of that shell (no GFX on my 91 bumpers ), considering it's at least mostly straight and rust free...

Mine are 11x17 and 12x17 they are off a race car, not sure about the contempos but with the flares on it, they would fit

There was a set on ebay for something like 5K but they were porsche bolt pattern

Wow, the white Cantara is mine. Nice to know someone likes it enough to write about it. I should thank him. Too bad he grabbed an old pic. I swapped the hood to an Iroc hood and it looks much better. Funny though, in the 80's, I did own a Contempo like the gray/silver one.

And they made 50 Contempo Cantaras and supposedly 4 Cantara GTS like mine. A Cantara GT is a one with the big Fiero wing and the front spoiler.

And BTW, I have owned Fieros....let the jokes begin....but be nice...my wife is cheating on me so my life sucks right now.

So I just picked up an '85 Contempo Camaro and im curious...since the cars body kit was designed by Contempo Van...does that mean the "VAN" in my accessory sheet is Contempo? Or is there a code in the accessory sheet to say if its from the factory or if someone put it on? Any help on this would be awesome.
