Hold on!!! Hardtop already setup for t-tops????
My friend recently removed the headliner in his 93 Z28 Hardtop and noticed that the roof is setup for t-tops, only it's just not cut. I don't believe our cars are the same way but I just thought I'd ask. Personally, I'd still never trust it. That's why I have two cars so I can have both.
That is the Roof Structure bar.. So your Roof don't warp underload...T-Top Cars have it too....

The 93 on up cars were designed as TTop cars. The hard top cars are TTop with sheet metal covering the TTop area. Prior to 93, I don't believe GM was designing the cars this way.

Yea, that's what I had thought. But I think that was a good idea by GM. Makes it much easier to put t-tops in a "hardtop" car.
