92 T/A Power Windows

? for you. I have a 92 T/A with power windows and recently the driver
window has been acting up. It will roll down (or up) halfway then I have to wait for several minutes and it will go another inch or two and so on. Its a real pain. Takes forever. My ? is could this be the motor wearing out or do I have a wiring prob? I'm not sure what to check to make sure. Any help would be appreciated

Been there. You need power window motors. You can overpay by going to a GM dealer. Or you can remanufactured ones from a parts store. Either way, they are very pricey.

I bought mine on eBay. There's a company out of Florida, I think it's called Power Up Auto. They install power windows, antenna motors, etc. They always run auctions for these. They are trustworthy to deal with. Mine work great, went in easily, and I paid about 1/4 of what the dealer would have charged. And there's a good tip sheet on this website explaining how to do the change.

Good luck.

OldGunner, try this first before you buy anything, it will only cost some time, and not as much of that as replacing the complete motor assembly. Here's you a link https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000108.html if you have any questions shoot me some mail.
