Firebird headlights not working...need help

Okay, so my flip up headlights decided that they didn't want to flip DOWN anymore. Everything else works fine. The lights had been working fine, then I tried to turn them off and they wouldn't go down. What's the deal? Is there a fuse or relay I should check?

Danka,

Did the headlight motors run when you turned off the headlights? If they did you probably have a stripped gear or broken drive bushings (if you have an '87-later model). If you have the earlier headlights with the wierd 3-wire setup its probably an electric problem and you should check all of the connections and make sure the right wires are grounded.
