I just got my trunk pull down working but every time i pop the trunk the lid raises and then lowers, is there some kind of adjustment?I didnt know wich board to put this on.

replace the lifter rods if their bad it will go back down. If the steel loop makes deep contact with the machanism, the latch catches, that pushes a button inside, the button ques the pull down to turn on.

I agree with the "replacing the struts" suggestions. But yes there is an adjustment to the hatch pull-down unit. But most important, mark its current location with a permanent marker or scratch awl. Then loosen the 3 bolts holding it to the body (1/2" or 13mm wrench) and adjust, then tighten.
