PPG vs LOF Windshields. Both Same ?

PPG vs LOF Windshields. Both Same ?
The windshield place that is going to install my windshield says that PPG and LOF are BOTH oem on a Trans Am. Is that true ? I read somewhere that PPG was the oem and lof was not.
