67 rs on 91z28

Recently I smashed my friends iroc and had to repair it. Being in the military I dont have money fallin out my a$$ so I threw my front end on his car. Now I dont have one on mine and I got to thinking about putting a 67 rs front on my car. Has anybody seen this done or have any pics of it?

I am glad to say I never seen this done, people constantly bitch about 4th gen stuff on 3rds, I wonder what they will say about 1st gen stuff. I am sure that a '67 rs nose will cost more that a 3rd gen nose. (the rs head light stuff costs $1000 alone) If you already have a '67 nose lying around, sell it and buy the correct nose. These cars are very different and it would take a lot to get it to look even remotely correct.

There is absolute no no way that a 67 front end would fit on a thirdgen. I've owned both a 67 camaro and have owned 2 thirdgens. And I have taken the front end completely apart on both. I had the camaro stripped down to the bare subframe. The mounting points for everything are completely different. It would be almost easier to put on a thirdgen hood and fenders and then make your own front fascia to look like a first gen. Other than that, no way. I guess anything is possible if you have enough $$. And like said above, a 67 front end is going to cost alot more than one for a thirdgen would, especially if it was a RS front end.

Ok. First of all I got all the time in the world because Im probably going to lose my license when I go to court so saving money is no problem. As far as in not fitting properly, Im not counting on a direct bolt up. I do have unlimited access to a shop that would have everything I would need to cut and weld to get a proper fit, so that isnt really an isse. I was just wondering if anynbody has done it or seen it done.

Even if you do have a shop you have access to and could make the most likely countless custom brackets to make it work on your car, do you even know if these cars are the same width or if the 2 front ends are pretty close to the same in length?? And would the doors even match the fenders?? There is alot you have to take into account.
