Time to paint the ole girl 92Z all stock in original blue. I never thoughtmuch of those bump on the hood things that Chevy put on the hood. I have hadinduction scoops on my old nova and even my jeep but I have not seem a 2"on a gen 3 yet. All I see in my area are 4 and 6 inch. Since I'm not sticking ablower under the hood and it purely cosmetic having a taller then 2" scoopis just silly. Does anyone have pics of their gen 3 with a 2" inductionscoop installed? Does it block any view over the hood? Thanks for any input.

 

Here is my old '91 RS from a few years ago, it had a 3" harwood cowl on it. It doesn't look too tall, but it did block the view a little. Did give me plenty of room for my intake and air cleaner without having to use a drop base.

 

I mounted a scoop to my 2.5 inch. You will not see much blockage with that high of a cowl. Their molds are nice. I had barely any prep work to straighten the hood out.
