What spoiler is this?
I pulled this spoiler off of a Camaro at the junkyard today, I'm not sure whether I want it on my trans am or not but for 15 bucks I figured I'd take it just in case. It looks like a straight across spoiler but with ends that stretch out a little towards the hatch window though not nearly as far as on an aero spoiler. Is this an aftermarket spoiler or stock, and if its stock what did it come on? I don't think I've ever seen one. Also do you think this would look good on a bird?

It's off the earlier camaros, but it is a smaller version of the Z28 spoiler. That's all I know.

It’s off of a 1988 sport coup. They only made them for half a year but are still called a 1 year “short wing”.
Here it is on my IROC-Z.

That question has been asked many times on this site so don't trip on not knowing. Just like you I had no idea as to exactly what it was called or the history behind it when I took the hole hatch with wing from a wrecking yard.
Heres some history behind it. =

Side note = I most defiantly disagree with the term "ungainly" used in the article above. I beleave it blends in nicely especially with my 2in. cowl. I had to be absolutely committed to using it because the car was going to be painted in the following week and there’s no turning back after that.

Re: What spoiler is this?
Thanks,
I pulled it out of some guys back yard for $500.00 and have been working on it for about 9 years. Still need front seats.
