I am changing my interior to black (already have the carpet,headliner,seats.) I know of a place where I can get the plastic pieces in black but it is expensive. If I paint it properly (plastic prep,Adhesion Promoter and the plastic paint) will it last and look good???and will it not flake off on the Sill plates where there is alot of contact?

I painted mine black and have had no flaking for 3 years now. Just remember if it is not perfectly clean and rinsed and dried there will be paint problems. Do a search you will find all your answers.

 

I recomend, using the bumper/trim paint, get the either gloss black, dull black or standard black or corcal. It works great its made for plastic trim and bumpers.
