Having a slight problem with my 92. I got home from work today and tried to roll up the window, heard a popping sound and now the window only goes up less than half way. it gets stuck on something. I can hear the motor running. It will roll down all the way, but when i try to roll it back up no dice. I obviously need to take apart the door again , but my question is what should i look for when its apart? power windows BTW. motor is relatively new...

 

My bet is that the giant pop rivets that hold the motor/regulator assembly
broke away from the door frame and the gear dropped down low in the door.
Yet the window will still go up part way and down fully.............

Ask me how I know this.................
