OK- I have the leather wrapped iroc steering wheel and it's starting to disintegrate...literally!!! I'm sure many of you can sympathize! I'm thinking of getting one of those leather covers that you tie on around the wheel, at least until I can afford to have it recovered profesionaly. Do I take the original leather off? Secondly, the new cover looks good in the pic. but do you think it'll look like crap when I do it myself? Anyone done this before?
