I've researched the archives and read the tech article on removing a steering wheel with airbags. However, does anyone know witch Grant Kit should be used for the 91 Firebird. Grant doesn't list it because they don't recommend the removal of the old wheel. Any help would be great. Thanks everyone.

I just went out and got a 3 spoke steering wheel from a 83 T/A to put in my Formula,i haven't installed it yet but i do have an airbag i'll be removing to install it.

Get the kit for an 89 Firebird. Once the airbag wheel is out of the way it's the same as any pre-bag car. You may have to use a washer to space the hub cover that the wheel sits on as it may rub the column as mine did.

Yep, what he said. Added Momo wheel to my 92 RS,and same with Momo adapter.After airbag stuff is out of the way,mounts just like pre-airbag wheels.Mine also required washer to clear edge of column housing, but that's all. Also had to pull bulb for irritating "supplemental restraint "light on dash.
