well my sunoco hood blew off after i did something and bought another hood, well with my new ss hood on the sides while i drive they come up from the wind. Im trying find a way to stop that, i've already took some washers off my latch and it helped a little i dont want to use those cheapo hood pins. what can i do to stop this?

 

you need hood pins. them hoods will flex alot in the wind.

Instead of drilling four holes in my hood to mount the cheap looking plate most pins come with I only drilled one for the post and used a stainless washer and thin rubber grommet held on with clear silicone.

They also make hood pins like the one on the bottom
