Should I BUY 92 RS!?!?!?!

Guys I need advise from my fellow Camaro owners. A 92 RS V8 stick is for sale in my neighborhood. It has 140000 miles and needs a valve seal job. It needs a completly new paint job and has a dent in the left rear quarter panel. It also needs a new driver side mirror. It look nice in the interior (no cuts or rips but needs CLEANING) and runs good. It has 3 inch Dynomax cat-back exhaust and ttops with tinted windows. HE is asking 3000 and i didnt know if that was worth it. I was thinking more like 2500-2800. Just let me know please. Need to know soon so he wont sell to another!!!!!!!

THANKS!!!! Benji@msn.com

I think he's asking way too much... if there is no rust anywhere then I would say $2000. I bought my car for $1300 then spent 200 on new rear tires... it's got 140k and a 5 speed... only difference is I have no dents on the body, two small rust holes and no headliner on the interior... the exhaust may make the car worth 2000 depending how expensive it will be to fix the engine... I don't think he'll be selling that car soon unless your town is populated with suckers... The guy I bought my car from had it in the papers a month and was originally asking 1800 (with bald rear tires)

that is way too much. i bought my 87 iroc 5spd for 2700 and it had 81,000 on the clock with a dinged door. offer him 1500 cash and he will eventually call u within 2 weeks b/c no one is going to buy it for that price.

I got mine for 8 grand. Its in perfect condition. No scratchs, dents, rust, never winter driven, raced and only 36,000 highway miles. I think it was worth every penny.

I bought my 91 RS for 2150. It's a v8, stick shift, interior was real good. It is mechanically great, but the body needs some work. I've got to put a whole paint job on it, get dents taken out of every piece of metal on the driver's side except the door, got to put a new hood on it and had new tires put on it. You could probably find a better deal. I'd try and find a car that needed a little less work. It'd be worth spending a little more to have a car in better shape.
