Anybody know where i could get a set of side ground effects for a 90 Camaro, besides searching endlessly in a junkyard..? Also, what are they made of?? Fiberglass or urethane or what? I recently got an idea... since I will more than likely be replacing the exhaust, I would like to get things sorted out so I can start saving $$. What I want to do is throw on some hooker super comp headers, two hi-perf cat's and running a true dual exhaust. I don't know what the underbody of camaro's look like (getting mine thursday) so I dont know if it'd work, but I'd like to do side exhaust. I'd like to have the GFX molded to fit the side pipes - - that's why i'd like to get fiberglass, it'd be easier to modify.

If anyone has any comments, suggestions, or answers to my questions please reply cause i'm really interested in doing this. My main concern is finding the GFX and whether or not it will work (enough clearance?) Thanks

 

the gfx are made of fiberglass. you can find them in junkyards, on ebay, or http://www.thirdgenresource.com

as for the side exhaust outlets, someone on this board has done it, i think it was carndrvr.
