floor pans

has anyone ever use bondo on rust holes in floor pans. let me know how it worked

Bondo isn't the right way to fix rust, it usually only makes the problem much worse alot faster. Bondo won't flex, so it will likely just pop off the floor the first time you fly through a corner. Sorry to rag on you man, but at least you didn't find out the hard way. You could use fiberglass, it will work OK but its still not the best choice, the best solution is to cut out the damaged areas and weld in new metal. Repop floor pans are avaible from places like Year One. Whatever you end up doing, make sure you get rid of all of the surface rust too. Good luck.

thinks a lot i was wondering if it wold work and it would be a shortcut to all of the work of cuting,grinding,welding.
i just want to get it done by spring i am doing a gut job (all it is right now is the body)thinks i will be cuting,grinding,and welding

IF it's just a small hole, just cut a square of sheet-metal, grind your hole out and weld it on. but don't forget to paint it or cover it though. A friend of mine has a 78 chevy truck and he put new floorpans in and left them as bare metal...they lasted about a year!
