Dash Pad?

Can a dash pad out of an 88 firebird fit into and 85 Z28?

Transmission: auto

It'll fit-no problem, but the grills for the speakers are a little different. If that doesn't matter-then it'll be fine.

Actually I heard it won't. Something about the Firebird dash is too short.
