hey guys,
I was thinking of doing some minor customizing to my hood. on the fake ramair grills and the slots up by the sides (the pieces that look like they are just snapped in place), I was thinking of filling the outlines of these and making it look like they were actually cut out of the hood. what do you think, has anyone done this, any pics?

Hey now! I had that idea too... i think it would look awsome, but... the pieces are plastic, hence they can slightly expand/contract in cold and hot weather. I would think that the bondo or what ever you would use to fill the seams, would crack. I dunno though... if you do it, send over some pics!

are you sure they are plastic, the paint on mine is almost totally gone. it looks like the fittings are aluminum and they sure don't feel like plastic, I'll have to check it out.
