Cowl hood in the rain

Think I have a 3 inch cowl hood and I noticed whenever I take off the hood after it has rained the previous day, there's water sitting on top of the back of the air cleaner and distributor. Is there anyway to remedy this?

Re: Cowl hood in the rain

Install a baffle or don't drive it in the rain sound like your only options.

Re: Cowl hood in the rain

All you need is a piece that sits in the back of the cowl that is louvered, louvers facing down. That will allow air to move freely, but any rain that makes its way to that area will run down the louvers and on to your cowl...away from the intake and distributor.
