Hello guys! I need detailed help with this. I've looked on countless threads and no one gives details on how to take the metal trim off the hatch. I have the hatch completely disassembled besides the trim. The reason im taking this off is because I'm just replacing the glass on my 92 and I want to keep the existing trim that's on the bad hatch (its mint condition no rust) Thanks in advance.

I don't think that the factory put them on as well as they thought. The ones I've pulled the trim edges just pulled off except for the area where the hinge mount was, that just took a little work with a razor knife.
