Help Me Pick A Hood

I know this has been discussed to death and I've searched and read the threads but I would like a fresh opinion on the subject. Putting a new hood on my 85z28 and want opinions. This will not be a daily driver. I have a 383 stroker in the car so I would like to pick some clearance. WIll a 2" cowl be enough? I'm not going to be drag racing the car so weight isnt really a primary concern. Fitment and low hassle are priorities. Thanks and let me know what you've got.
This is the intake I will be using http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-226010/overview/ with an Edlebrock air cleaner from Auto Zone 14" round not sure of the height exactly.

How tall of an intake and how big of an air cleaner are you running? After we know that then we can guide you as to how much hood clearance you will need.

I also have a goodmark 2" steel cowl hood, great fitment and an overall great product.

For reference my car is carb'd with a high-rise single-plane air gap intake and a 14x3" air cleaner(drop base)

Re: Help Me Pick A Hood

Thanks for the replies, I think I like the cervini 3" fiberglass really well. Seems to fit good from what I can figure and should be a decent weight savings, which never hurts.
