i know you were asking if it was original factory. well it might have been for the mustang, but i recently bought a new still in the original box oem on ebay. It cost an arm and a leg but to me it was worth it since they have not been available from GM for over 10 years or more. as soon as I get around to it I will post pics of it both out of the box with the box and on my car. It included all hardware as well. the part number on the box is Goodwrench #998386. right before I bough my camaro that back louver had been stolen off the car so since it came factory on that car it was the only item missing. now it's a complete show car and I'm super buzzed about it. Give me a day or so and I will post some pics. bear with me anyone who might be interested in seeing the original GM factory louver. I know some say they look cheesy and stuff but they do serve a purpose and to keep the heat down in the back. but for those of you who are true original Camaro lovers you should like it. After all it was an option back then for our cars. sad thing is back then it only cost about 225 or so when having the car ordered and I paid several times that. But it was a once in a lifetime buy for me as all the ones I had seen were well used bent broke and severely faded. this one is unassembled in the box with every part separated by foam to keep it all pristine.

Ok guys for those interested in seeing what the original factory louver kit looks like before it's put together and installed on the car. well here are pics of it. I haven't put it together as of yet but in the next 2 weeks it should be on my car all put together like it was in 1988. check out the pics. As you can see through the pics there really isn't much to them or their assembly. just snap together parts and a little glue here and there and a few bolt on clamps. Shame though they are so easy to steal as well. I've seen a few guys who have these on their Camaro paint them to match the body color.
