Wrap around spoiler help
So I am in the process of refinishing a wrap around spoiler. This one has never been painted and as always has seen better days. But condition wise is not the worst I have seen. My plan is to paint it gloss black. Would Fiberglas be the best method to skim coat it over bondo? Is there anything else that is recommended? There's one small crack that's on the underside but has a pourse finish to the rubber front to back.

Fiberglass, some thick epoxie, or maybe some high build primer.
Try adding a picture for some visual help. Maybe someone with some good body skills will chime in to give you the answer your needing.

I bought a hawks wing many years ago. I don't know about there quality now, but the one I got from them was crap, I still ended up putting in many many hours to get it to fit correctly and to not crack.
Good luck

In my best opinion. Spend the money and buy a fiberglass rear wind. If you try to coat the rubber wing with fiberglass #1 it will not stick well, and since the rubber is full of air, and moisture from over the years you will end up with a lot of bubbles and cracks soon enough. Especially when it gets a nice dose of sun.

Re: Wrap around spoiler help
I bought one and had to swap it because it was 1-½ in to short from L to R and after a few back and forth discussions with Bruce we agreed to make a swap at the Atlanta event.
I wasn't able to go but my friends took it for me and when they dropped it off I immediately checked it on my car and I could tell right away it was right.
me and a friend bought ours together so we test fitted his on my car and it was fine. with as many wings as they ship out there will be a failure factor, it happens with all companies.
as for mounting, I measured the brackets on the glass with the pockets in the wing and ran screws into the pockets so it would mount like factory. I didn't even use the clips that screw into the tips of the spears.

Re: Wrap around spoiler help
I got a rear aero spoiler from Bruce, very little prep work, just a scuff and paint and it turned out great. I think there was one little spot from shipping that I had to use a little glazing putty... it was so small I didn't even need to reprime it. it was about the size of the edge of a fingernail.
