I have a 92 rs I purchased last year for $1000 but someone stayed over the original color. It was Hawaiian orchid and now has some kind of metallic red over it but I Dont know how to paint match!! Plz help!!

 

if your trying to match the current red color..... and the previous owner didn't leave you the manufactures paint code it was changed to, your best bet is to take it to an automotive paint supplier (not pep boys) a PPg, sikkens, dupont supplier. certain suppliers will sell directly to customers, anyhow, they have a camera tool that takes a high tech picture of it and can pull a very close match, sometimes perfect, sometimes not so perfect. also some nice body shops will have this tool, probably tough to get them to use it for ya, unless ur gonna get them to paint it for u to lol...good luck

 

Hawaiian Orchid? Looks like factory Purple Haze to me. Post your VIN and I can run it through Comp Nine and tell you for sure.
