Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
Question for all u 3rd gen body men

Ok quick question i have a a pair of formula doors off a 89 that are completely rot free (surprising in new england) i currently have a 88 gta the doors are fully installed and now i need to remove the formula 350 decals what is the best way to remove them the doors are also white while my car is black so they will need to be sanded what is a good sand paper to use to get most of the paint off

If the decals aren't under the clear u can use a razor blad or sand them while you sand the doors.use like a 320 then go a step up to a 380 or 400 on a 5or 6 inch disc sander. don't take the white completely off and if there's any deep scratches make sure u feather edge then down

snag the rubber wheel for this from Eastwood or somewhere. zips them right off, no clogging sand paper.

If you are looking to remove the factory paint you use 36 or 40 grit. If you just need to smooth it out start with 80. If just scuffing use 320 wet.
