Re-doing weatherstripping '87 IROC
Anything I should do before I install the new seals on my T-tops?
I stripped off as much glue as I could, and used speedway 500 adhesive remover to get off the remaining bits of black stuff.. I also repainted after this pic was taken..
Is there any tricks to putting those seals on?

You have probably already tackled this already, but if not, a couple of important things I can think of are:
Wire wheel any rust in the channel completely off and spray the area with rust converter.
Liberally use black silicone adhesive in the j-channel to keep water from getting under the new seals. Keep some mineral spirits and rags handy to wipe off excess.
Once the seals are installed and the silicone underneath has been wiped away and not visible, put the t-top in and lock it down. This will squeeze out more excess to be wiped away with mineral spirits on your rag. Then just take the t-top back out and let the seal relax on its own and dry for 24 hours before reinstalling the t-tops.
Worked for me last year, and is still leak free.

Re: Re-doing weatherstripping '87 IROC
I used the 3m Weatherstrip adhesive, after recently doing the weatherstripping on my 72 Charger, I was sort of practiced at it..
I used masking tape to hold the seals back, the front fit nice, the rear had a gap.. So I glued the hell out of it, held it in place with masking tape, then after a day stuck the t-tops back on (it required two people..)
