i got a 99 camaro 6 speed console, but it did not come with a shift boot. then i got the shift boot from someone on the board. now my only problem is, how does the boot attach to the console? is there a clip that i should have or what?

 

you have the plastic piece that should have came with the console???????.....i have a 95 bird console, but its junk cuz of a break in a piece....the piece the boot clips on goes into those holes on your console....

btw.....how do you like your boot?

 

hehe i couldn't remember if it was you or okfoz that i bought it from. i'm gonna go take a look at it and see if i can figure it out, maybe take some pics to see if i'm missing anything. thanks for the boot though, it's in great shape. i just gotta find some time to put the console in, i've had to ambition at all to finish any of my projects lately.
